It's hard to imagine what it would be like to not have access to a necessity as basic as clean water. Most of us don't think about what life might be like if we had to walk miles every day to access water; to carry that heavy water back home without spilling or dropping it; and to have to choose how to use that water as there is not enough for drinking, cooking, bathing/hygiene, and cleaning. And even then, the water would likely be unclean and teeming with microbes. Did you know that HALF of all illness and death in Africa is due to UNCLEAN WATER? When you provide a community with clean water, you LITERALLY SAVE LIVES of men, women, boys, girls, and babies. When Brandon and Shannon listened to the stories of the hardships people endure for daily water, they both cried. And they decided that day, they would give as much money as possible for the rest of their lives to help communities access clean water. Our ambitious goal was to give a minimum of one million dollars. We will reached a milestone of over $200,000 in contributions and we believe our goal of raising one million dollars or more is possible!
